The Washington Post is now offering a short list of cheap wine recommendations. Area purveyors are duly noted, but let's see how many of these bargain bottles you can find at your local wine shop.

Corsica, France, $9

This inexpensive charmer actually tastes like pinot, and it's good pinot. Don't expect the velvet of a top Burgundy; you'll still have to pay for that. But this should be a "by the case" selection to enjoy on a weeknight..."
