"Where do low-cost airlines fly to?" is the first question you need to ask if you're looking for cheap flights to, well, somewhere. As bnet explains, it used to be that you flew into a secondary airport in regions served by no-frills carrier. That business model is now changing, and on some flights on some discount airlines you may actually be able to land where the traditional carriers do -- that is, at major airports. Does it really matter?

"For years, any time a new low cost carrier started up, the model looked nearly the same as the last. Low fares, no frills, direct booking, and yes, low costs all around. That meant flying to cheaper, secondary airports to serve major markets.
