What are the best value cars for 2011? The race to this particular finish line was won by the Honda Fit, according to PRNewswire.com, which based its report on an analysis undertaken by Consumer Reports. A low price isn't the only criterion by which to judge a car's worth, continues the press release. Car buyers should also note the cost of ownership, reliability, and overall performance. "Consumer Reports named the Honda Fit as the small car with the best overall value in its 2011 Annual Auto Issue. The Fit also emerged as the best overall value among some 200 different vehicles analyzed, ranging from small cars to luxury sedans.

Although the Jeep Wrangler is well known for its off-road capability, it was named as the overall worst value.
