The Twizy to be the World's Cheapest Electric Car
The cheapest electric car has made its debut -- in a European auto show, anyway. Gas2.org offers a few details about this super-cheap and super-tiny electric marvel -- like, it weighs less than 1,000 pounds, runs on a battery that you rent by the month, and is designed to qualify as a motorized vehicle that you can drive in some countries without a license! Hear that, DMV. But don't expect to see this baby in the U.S. any time soon.
"No it's not a rapper or the next new dance craze. It's only supposedly the CHEAPEST electric vehicle on the market. Made public at the Paris Auto Show, this two-seater may not look all blinged out, but priced at only $9,700 -- who cares!..."
