Cheap Gateway laptop
Gateway NV51B05u Review
If you're worried about your ecological footprint, there's a new cheap Gateway laptop that uses $3.14 a year worth of power. According to CNET, that's a tad behind the Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5130 but ahead of the HP Pavilion dm1-3005 and Lenovo ThinkPad X120e. Priced at $470, this cheap Gateway laptop tests out in the middle of the five-model pack for image-processing speed and iTunes encoding. It comes in deal last in the battery drain test for video playback, and fourth in multimedia multitasking speed. Is this a laptop you want to buy? Maybe, but do some research first (as in, read whichever reviews you can find).

HP's dm1 and Lenovo's ThinkPad X120e both ran for about 90 minutes longer..."
