Vision Airlines extends $19 fare sale to Florida through Sunday
Florida flights for under $20! Yup, folks, that's right. But as this post on the Orlando Sentinel points out, you've gotta act fast. The amazingly discounted fare of $19 must be booked before Sunday, March 27, and you have to fly by May 21. And there's another catch: You have to fly into Destin, FL, which is in the far northwestern corner of Florida, and you can only get there on a $19 seat from some of the 21 cities this low-cost airline serves on flights that haven't yet sold out these super-cheap seats.
The promotion is intended to call attention to a service expansion for Vision Airlines. If you happen to live in or near one of 15 cities in the southeast, such as Columbia, SC; Atlanta, GA; Louisville, KY; or Shreveport, LA, and you want to get to what is known in the travel biz as the Emerald Coast, then winging into Destin, FL on Vision Airlines is now another option.
"Due to an overwhelming response from travelers of Vision's $19 seat sale, the airline is extending the promotion through Sunday, March 27, 2011 at midnight, for travel through May 21, 2011. Vision Airlines announced the $19 seat sale to celebrate the official launch of non-stop, low-fare flight service between Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS) and 15 southeast markets beginning Friday, Mar. 25, 2011.."
