Apple tightly held the reigns of retail control when it released the initial iPad. Version 2 is proving to be a little different. Resellers across the globe, like eBay, are already selling it at markup prices two weeks after its release, says a MacNewsWorld.com story. While it may be a while before you can get the latest cheap used iPads for sale, you can find the original iPad at a discount from several retailers.

Verizon stores are now selling the 16 GB iPad 1 for $300, reports Gadget Review, so they can get rid of their stock. Elsewhere in the world, some Australian distributors have knocked down the price of the iPad by as much as $200 AUD. So, really, you don't have to settle for cheap used iPads for sale -- you can a newer one for less.

"When the first iPad was released last year, consumers all around the U.S. turned to eBay to make a quick buck, selling the device to people in other countries where it hadn't yet been officially released.

With the iPad 2, though, a much greater chunk of eBay sales are staying within the U.S., according to figures released by the online auction house. That could spell major supply problems for Apple..."
