How to spend less on iTunes
Get cheap music downloads
With music downloading software like Limewire no longer an option, more and more people must actually buy their music online. But if you love lots of tunes, costs can add up quickly. MSN Money tells readers how to spend less on iTunes.
Costs for iTunes singles currently range between 69 cents and $1.29. You can get the cheapest version of your desired song simply by rejecting the common assumption that pricier means better. The same song may come from different albums -- the original or greatest hits, for instance -- but all songs are normally the same. Some might be "cleaner" versions, but why pay 50 cents extra to hear the F-bomb dropped?
Here's another trick for how to spend less on iTunes: download free workout podcasts. These are often playlists of upbeat techno, pop, hip hop, or rap songs that you can play while you get your fitness on. But you can also just incorporate them into your regular song lists. There are other free podcasts themed around practicing yoga, in case you're after some lighter tunes.

In the meantime, I do my best to find iTunes bargains wherever I can. Let's face it, the cost and convenience of iTunes simply can't be beat..."
