Second hand search engine
If you like a green bargain, this site's for you
We told you a few days ago how many are getting dizzy from all the discount sites and daily deals floating around these days. If you are one of those people, you're in luck with a new second-hand search engine that does the bargain hunting for you, reports Redding.com.
Ecofreek.com sifts through global search engines, including Craigslist, and libraries for items that people no longer want. This latter element gives an environmentally-friendly bent to the site, as you're scooping up used things. All you do is enter a term in this second-hand search engine and select your state or country. You'll get listings with offers to sell an item or trade it.
Items have pictures, and you can get directions to the pickup location with a Google Maps link on the site. Alert systems and wish lists help you get notified when an item you want is available. A search for "iPod" in Alabama supplies several listings for used devices. Take a look around and see what you find.
"Everyone likes a good bargain and the Internet is making it easier to find them. There are all sorts of websites that let you swap products, offer free shipping and that let you buy or sell things you want to get rid of.But going through all that takes time. Now there's one site that puts it all together..."
