TIME just reported on an online shoppers behavior study showing many are taking more time to select their purchases. The research found that the time it took between the first click and the purchase jumped 12 percent over two years, an indication that shoppers are comparing deals to make the best decision.

The moral of the story: slow down. If you're an impulse buyer, now's the moment to change your ways and just stop being, well, impulsive.
