Today, November 11, 2011 -- a.k.a. 11/11/11 -- is considered one lucky day. Couples all over the world are planning to tie the knot, expectant mothers are hoping for their baby to be born (some are even requesting cesarean sections be done today), various religious groups are planning spiritual ceremonies, and retailers are now jumping on the 11/11/11 trend. For frugal shoppers this means a nice deal or two.

Droid Razr $111.11 (normally $799.99) from Amazon. Do note this deal is for new Verizon customers only and don't expect to get it in the next day or two -- it's backordered for close to nine days.
Affinia Hotels in New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. are offering $111.11 rates on Sunday night stays from January 2, 2012 through March 31, 2012 if the room is booked today between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. Depending on the location, room rates start around $151 a night.
Free 11.11 Wish app from Apple. The fun app lets you remind yourself to make a wish on 11:11 a.m. or p.m. as well as send a wish to your friends and family via Facebook or Twitter at 11:11 a.m. or p.m. on any date you choose.

6pm.com, an online outlet store selling brand name shoes, handbags, and accessories and clothing for men, women and kids, is offering select 11-11-11 discounts with hundreds of items priced at $11 all day -- that's more than an 80% discount on certain items.
For technical people, or those looking to learn Photoshop, the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) is offering a NAPP membership deal today. If you buy a new membership or renew today you'll get 11 weeks of the membership added on for free. The membership includes a database of hundreds of the site's tutorials, and a subscription to Photoshop User magazine. As a member you will also have access to additional discounts.
