What if you could inject some pizzazz into a birthday celebration with a day full of birthday freebies? We've compiled a list of places you can enjoy from sun up to sun down without spending a dime. If you chose the highest-value giveaways (that is, items for which there is no choice or prices for all choices are the same) you'd save more than $58, or $133 if also celebrating a child's birthday the same month. Either way, that's quite a present.

Most of these offers require a subscription to an email club so be sure to read the fine print before clicking "submit." (Many clubs require you to be at least 18 years old in order to sign up.) Plan ahead, too, as some subscriptions come with a lag before you receive the birthday coupon. Offers vary whether the coupon is good for your entire birthday month or just your actual birth day, so double check once the coupon for your birthday freebie is in hand.

Breakfast.

Sign up for a Caribou Coffee account and receive a free drink on your birthday. You can choose from a variety of coffee and tea drinks to start your special day on the right foot. Be sure to cash this one in on your birthday because that's the only day it's valid. If you prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee, join the company's UpDDate program before your big day to qualify for a free birthday coffee. Just for signing up you also get a bonus free medium drink that you can redeem any time.

If you need a little more than coffee to get your celebratory day going, hop over to Denny's for a free Grand Slam complete with eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage, and pocket $5.99. No need to sign up for this one -- Denny's just requires an ID.

Einstein's Bagels also wants to help you celebrate with a birthday freebie. Sign up for the email club before your birthday and you'll get to indulge in a free bagel with a "schmear," as well as a birthday coupon for a free breakfast sandwich with the purchase of any drink.

Lunch.

For lunch, cash in for a free birthday medium sub at Firehouse Subs when you sign up for the electronic newsletter. The chain even emails a reminder before your "especially tasty day" to ensure you get to take advantage of its generous offer. Jersey Mike's also offers a sub and drink giveaway on your birthday, worth a total of $8.64, but you'll need to confirm your subscription to the email club more than a week in advance to collect on the deal.

If a hamburger is more appealing, Fuddruckers has you covered. This one imposes a lag between signing up for the Fudd Club and receiving a birthday coupon for your free burger, so give yourself plenty of time. Red Robin also offers a juicy birthday freebie for the birthday girl or boy. If you sign up for this rewards program, you get to choose a free birthday burger from among 24 specialty burgers.

Snack.

For those in-between-meal snackers, Auntie Anne's hits the spot with a free birthday pretzel on your day when you subscribe to Pretzel Perks.

Or maybe your friends want to sneak you out for a birthday movie. At Cinemark you can score one free small popcorn valued at $4 during the week of your birthday by signing up for the cinema chain's weekly email. (ID required to take advantage of your birthday coupon.) Once you become a member you'll receive weekly concession stand coupons, as well.

Dinner.

If you like Japanese food, Benihana will send you a $30 gift certificate for your birthday when you join the Chef's Table email list. And if you can't make it on your actual birthday, this freebie is valid the entire month of your birthday.

Or maybe you would prefer Mexican for your celebratory dinner. If that's the case, head over to Baja Fresh for a birthday burrito giveaway. To make the deal sweeter yet, you also get a free taco just for signing up for the chain's Club Baja.

Dessert.

Once dinner is over, you deserve a nice, big dessert to top off your birthday. Ice cream lovers can drop by Baskin-Robbins, which offers a free ice cream cone, as well as a discount on a birthday cake if you want something to take home. You also get a buy-one-get-one-free offer when you sign up for the company's Birthday Club and other exclusive offers throughout the year. If Cold Stone Creamery's ice cream is more your style, this chain, too, offers a special deal on your birthday: a buy-one-get-one-free "creation" coupon worth up to $5 when you sign up for the eClub.

Services.

There comes a time when you can't eat anymore, so take advantage of other birthday freebies. For a child's birthday, take him or her over to Olan Mills for a free child birthday portrait package valued at $75. This offer is good for the birthday month.

If the birthday boy or girl needs a haircut before the photo shoot, Sports Clips offers a free birthday haircut during the birthday month just for signing up for the chain's E-Club.

Shopping.

Other birthday freebies can be used for a new pair of shoes at DSW, where you get $5 to spend during the month of your birthday, or at CVS where the pharmacy chain's present to you is $3 in CVS ExtraBucks Rewards.
