PRICE CUTS: iPods Get Cheaper, Making Room For…Better iPods?

Don't you just love this recession? If you've still got money to burn, Apple is making it easy to part with some of it. According to Mashable, iPod prices are dropping dramatically.

"Guessing what Apple is going to show us at today just got a little easier, as prices for all iPods in its roster have fallen quite dramatically.

The 8GB iPod touch has dropped from $229 to $189; the 16GB model will now cost $249, down from $299, while the 32GB model is a full 120 dollars cheaper, dropping to $279 from $399. Furthermore, the 8GB iPod nano's price has been cut from $149 to $129, the 16GB nano has dropped to $149 from $199, and finally, the iPod classic now costs $229 instead of the $249..."
