Starbucks Gets Cheap With Instant Coffee

You'll rarely find a thrifty shopper toting a Starbucks cup, unless they're just hooked on that fresh burned--I mean, "double brewed"--coffee taste. But now, for the particularly undiscriminating coffee drinker, Starbucks is offering a cheap alternative: brand name instant coffee. Sometimes that Starbucks one block away is just too much of a schlep. (Psst... they're introducing the instant coffee with a promotion.)

"Cost-conscious coffee drinkers may just benefit from Starbucks efforts to revive instant coffee.

The coffee chain is now selling its own instant, "100% natural roasted coffee, made without preservatives" for less than $1 in stores nationwide, Starbucks (Stock Quote: SBUX) announced..."
