WalMart is taking that cradle-to-grave thing to new heights. In addition to diapers and cribs, WalMart is now stocking caskets. Better yet, reports Associated Content, the megastore will deliver direct to the funeral home. What more could you ask for?
"If you were thinking about dying and how much it was going to cost your family (let's face it, you certainly won't be around to pay for it -- unless you make arrangements beforehand), WalMart has now added caskets to its list of items that one can get at their monster one-stop-shop megastores. So don't worry about dying; if you're too busy living, the family can drop onto the WalMart website when you finally kick the bucket and have a casket shipped to the funeral home within 48 hours of your passing. That way they won't have to worry about smashing the bread and eggs trying to load their new WalMart casket into the car (the beer? Inside the casket, of course)..."
