If you haven't yet joined the social networking crowd, now's the moment. A host of retailers will be releasing Black Friday details to their electronic friends, reports the Boston Herald. So don't be caught waiting for that old-school newspaper advertising circular.

"Retailers are joining the Facebook and Twitter bandwagons for this year's Black Friday.

Companies from Staples to Toys "R" Us are using the social networking sites to give loyal customers the first looks at sales and other deals for Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving that traditionally marks the start of the holiday shopping season. They're also launching new technology including mobile shopping in time for Nov. 27..."
