Black Friday has come and gone but there are still holiday bargains to be found. In a nod to consumers' new frugal ways, The Dallas Morning News reports retailers will continue offering big discounts this month in a last ditch effort to stoke sales momentum. Waiting until December 24 might not be a bad strategy this year.

"If there are any doubts that shoppers are motivated by price, Black Friday results settled that one.

But weak sales the rest of the month left major U.S. chain stores with largely disappointing November sales and much ground to make up in the critical December holiday shopping season..."
