There are certain things we often take for granted in this country. Clean drinking water is one. But people living in less developed countries -- and quite possibly some American consumers, as well -- aren't so fortunate. But as SmartPlanet.com explains, Tata Chemicals is introducing a low-cost, home-based water purifier that should help mitigate this problem.
"Tata Chemicals has announced what it believes is the cheapest water purifier in the world.The India-based company, which made its name from the launch of the Nano compact, the world's cheapest car, aims to provide clean drinking water to the 894 million people around the globe who lack access to it.
