Any way you cut it, you're bound to pay for the TV you watch. The Chicago Tribune has done us all a favor by pulling together a list of some of the services offering cheap views of your favorite TV shows.

"Deep in our hearts, we all knew something this good couldn't last.

Hulu, the currently free online video service, plans to begin charging a trial $9.95 subscription fee as soon as May 24, according to today's L.A. Times' Company Town blog post.

"Under the proposal, Hulu would continue to provide for free the five most recent episodes of shows like Fox's 'Glee,' ABC's 'Lost' or NBC's 'Saturday Night Live,'" the L.A. Times' blog post said. "But viewers who want to see additional episodes would pay $9.95 a month to access a more comprehensive selection, called Hulu Plus..."
