Yes, it does offer 17 other normal-length settings for breads, doughs, and jam, but the machine's focus is on making fresh yeast bread fast. People have been making yeast breads for thousands of years, and most bread aficionados will tell you this: You can't make great yeast bread in the advertised 58 minutes in part because the express function requires a lot of yeast, which alters the consistency. So don't expect a bread miracle.
