LG Infinia 47LX9500 LCD 3D HDTV Review
LG's Infinia LX9500 TVs are pricey compared to other sets in this review, but the LX9500s deliver an excellent picture. Hometheatermag.com was impressed with the LX9500's ability to accurately display flesh tones and green colors. The review says there is a little bit of ghosting when watching video in 3D, but no more than other sets. PCmag.com describes the LX9500's picture as sharp and vibrant, with minimal ghosting in 3D mode. The LX9500 aced all of PCmag.com's HDTV tests.
You'll find LG Infinia LX9500 3D TVs in two sizes; 47 inches and 55 inches. The LX9500 is an LCD that uses LEDs rather than a traditional cathode light to light up the screen, which results in a better, more uniform image. The LX9500 sets all use a 16:9 aspect ratio. You'll find plenty of connections for this TV, including 4 HDMI ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a component connection, even a LAN port. The set's maximum refresh rate is 480Hz.
Yes, the LX9500 TVs are expensive, more expensive than the other sets we review. But if you can find one on sale, it's worth a little extra money due to its solid performance.
