You can choose among five rental periods, from 30 to 125 days, and you can extend for as long as 90 days; if you decide to keep the book, you can buy it out. If books are not in really good condition when sent back, you'll be charged the buyout price; minor damage incurs a $15 fee. Outbound (standard delivery) and return shipping are free, as is expedited shipping for orders greater than $75. If your course of study changes, you have 21 days to return the book for a refund.
