HP Slimline s5220y Review
HP's Slimline s5220y is similar to HP's other Slimline PCs in terms of looks and hardware. It comes in a small case, which an HP Slimline s5220y review in CNET says can limit your ability to upgrade this system. However, CNET notes that the system's performance is adequate, and most HP Slimline s5220y reviews by users on Best Buy report satisfaction with how well the s5220y handles typical computing tasks; plus, consumers like the budget desktop's small size.
The HP Slimline s5220y's specifications are similar to many PCs in this price range. It has an Intel Pentium E5300 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 640GB hard drive, and includes Windows 7. The HP Slimline s5220y supports 5.1 speaker systems and has six USB 2.0 ports. You'll also find a 6-in-1 card reader on this PC.
Although the HP Slimline s5220y certainly falls in the budget range, it's a little more expensive than similarly-equipped desktop PCs but doesn't offer much in the way of extras. We think this is a nice system, but there are some better systems available.
