EasyCruise.com Review
EasyCruise specializes in hip, modern cruising at an affordable price. Trips start as low as $20/person/night, but they depart from European ports (such as Athens, Greece), so if you're an American, you have to factor in the cost of air travel as well. This cheap cruise line sails around the Greek Islands and Turkey and offers unique cultural shore excursions.
EasyCruise was founded by the same person who created EasyJet, one of Europe's leading low-cost airlines. EasyCruise has the same goal in offering high-end travel at budget prices. The cruise line has just two ships, and most trips are three or four nights long on ships that accommodate up to 574 passengers. A wide variety of staterooms offer everything from bunk beds to double beds and pullout sofas. The decor throughout is modern and almost spa-like, and many rooms feature large picture windows. Facilities include a spa & wellness zone, "chill out zone," and pool bar & lounge restaurant, which serves both Greek and international cuisine.
The bottom line: If you can get to the departure port cheaply, then EasyCruise is a great bargain and an easy way to tour some exotic locales in the company of other passengers and expert staff.
