Sennheiser HD 201 Review
Sennheiser's HD 201 headphones get high marks from users and experts for their lightweight, comfortable design, which allows listeners to wear them for hours without irritation. While the sound isolation isn't quite what some users might prefer, for budget headphones it's acceptable. Users report these ear pad headphones aren't made for high volume levels, which sometimes causes distortion in the sound.
Light weight and acceptable sound quality mark the Sennheiser HD 201 headphones. The low price is certainly appealing, comments a user in a Sennheiser HD 201 review on CNET, who then goes on to complain that the bass is almost non-existent at times and the headphones don't fit tightly enough on his head, forcing him to use tape to get it right.
Featuring ear pads, a ¼" jack adapter, and a 10-foot cable, the Sennheiser HD 201 is all plastic and pleather. An expert at DarkVision Hardware writes in his Sennheiser HD 201 review that this is a rugged set of cheap headphones and comfortable enough to wear for hours.
With decent sound quality and an OK fit, the Sennheiser HD 201is certainly a budget buy. But there are better cheap headphones out there, especially if you're demanding about sound isolation and a boomy bass.
