Sony Bravia EX500 Review
The Bravia EX500 series sports some of the best features available in a cheap LCD TV, including a fast 120Hz refresh rate. A range of screen sizes are available, but you'll be limited to the smallest model -- the larger Bravia EX500 sets quickly leap out of the Cheapism price range.
Sony's Bravia EX500 TVs impressed reviewers and users alike with their impressive picture quality and solid collection of features. Wired.com declares that the EX500's picture has crisp and vibrant colors, and Wired also appreciates the TV's generous selection of inputs. Amazon.com users weren't impressed with the EX500's audio, but they did like its fantastic picture quality. Cnet.com says the EX500 is a great value among the current crop of mainstream LCD TVs, and it has very good color accuracy.
The EX500 series of TVs have a 1080p resolution and a speedy 120Hz refresh rate. It has plenty of inputs for connecting just about everything in your home theater system, including 4 HDMI ports, 2 component ports, 2 composite ports, a USB port, and a PC connection.
Sony products tend to be pricey, and you'll find that the larger sets in this series are well out of the Cheapism range. But if you're looking for a smaller LCD TV, this model is one of the best available, a great value.
