Motorola Droid Razr M Review
Motorola Droid Razr M 5 Star Rating: Cheapism Best Pick
Summary:

It's surprising to find a phone this appealing for this price -- a mere penny. The Motorola Droid Razr M from Verizon may not have an HD display, but the screen still looks gorgeous. This is also a very fast phone with the new "Jelly Bean" version of Android.

Motorola makes quite a few phones that sport the Razr moniker, but the Droid Razr M is almost certainly the best deal. You can get this phone on the cheap with a new contract from Verizon. A Droid Razr M review from Laptop Mag declares the phone without question one of the best you can buy for less than $100. The bright screen creates gorgeous color, the user interface is simple to use, and the phone delivers smooth performance and rapid download speeds on Verizon's 4G LTE network, according to Laptop Mag's Droid Razr M review. An expert from CNET appreciates that this smartphone is a bit smaller than most on the market these days, making it more comfortable to hold, yet it still accommodates a 4.3-inch screen. The site's Droid Razr M review notes the display's vivid colors and nice contrast. The phone also impresses with long battery life, although not its camera, which proves a disappointment due to the muted colors it produces in photos.

The 4.3-inch display on the Motorola Droid Razr M has a resolution of 540x960. (An HD screen requires a step up in the Razr series.) The camera resolution is 8MP and the phone has a small front-facing .3MP camera as well, for video calling and self-portraits. The Droid Razr M supplements 8GB of internal memory with a microSD slot that can support up to a 32GB memory card. It also has a micro-USB port and supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections. The phone houses a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 4.1, one of the latest versions of Google's mobile operating system.

The camera on the Motorola Droid Razr M may leave a bit to be desired, but the phone makes up for that shortcoming in so many ways. Its raw power, speedy downloads, and excellent (if not HD) screen should appeal to any shopper. The fact that you can get this phone with a new contract for only a penny really sweetens the deal.
