Dell Mini 10v

Dell is one of the most popular names in computing, so naturally the company wants to cash in on the netbook craze. Although most budget netbooks reviews indicate that users like the Mini 10v, CNET says the touchpad could be better but gives the Dell netbook a "Very Good" rating overall. A review of cheap netbooks at Notebookreview.com mentions that the Mini 10v's keyboard, which includes larger Shift, Tab, and CTRL keys than most netbooks, is among the best the reviewer has seen on 10-inch netbooks.

The Mini 10v has some nice options if you're willing to spend a little extra money. For example, most netbooks come with a 160GB hard drive but Dell offers an upgrade to a 16GB SSD (solid state drive) hard drive. You can also opt for either a three-cell or six-cell battery for your Mini 10v. The system comes with an Intel N270 1.6GHz or N280 1.66GHz CPU.

The Dell Mini 10v's big selling point: it's a solid netbook (despite the somewhat awkward touchpad) that offers a few more options than most models. You can add any number of extras to your netbook (e.g., Bluetooth or an external optical drive) with a click on Dell's Web sit ; Dell makes the process easy enough.
