But at all times, return shipping is free -- a rare treat in the retail marketplace -- although the Zappos return policy states that goods must be in the same condition in which they were received and the original packaging must be included.
You can send back shoes, coats, pants, briefcases, towels, etc., using a pre-paid UPS or U.S. Postal Service label, available from the company website. According to the Zappos return policy, items will be inspected within 72 hours of receipt to be sure they are still in new condition and refunds will be processed in the original form of payment.
Recipients may exchange a gift for a different product, but refunds are directed to the original purchaser. Zappos does not accommodate holiday shopping with any special rules.
