The graphics performance clearly impresses Android Central, whose Epic 4G review likewise praises the smartphone's speed and overall operation. In the opinion of the experts at Endadget, the Epic 4G is a "killer" smartphone with its slide-out keyboard, color-saturated display, WiMax (warp-speed Wi-Fi) support, and LED flash on the camera. Digital Trends' Epic 4G review is equally effusive, commenting that high-resolution multimedia visuals seem to pop and voice during calls comes in loud and clear.

The Epic 4G earns such praise because Samsung decked it out with lots of appealing features.
