The BMA is open Wednesday through Sunday and has free general admission. It has 90,000 works of art including one of the largest Matisse collections in the world. They have family events every Sunday at 2pm which include sketching tours, hands-on workshops and other family fun.

This staple of the Baltimore inner harbor is a fun way to experience dessert. There are lots of free samples and the staff breaks in to song and dance constantly. Kids love the popular songs that The Fudgery has rewritten so they are all about fudge.

This garden has 80,000 tulip bulbs as well as other varieties of flora spread over six acres. There are no gates, admission is free. The tulips are at their best near the end of April, beginning of May. This land has been past down since the 1800's and also includes rare trees.

The Walters Art Museum has really interesting exhibits that will interest kids and parents alike. Knights' armor, Faberge eggs, medieval furniture, paintings, and even kids activities. The museum has live performances, dress up tours with guides, and even family programs.
National Aquarium

Plan to spend at least a few hours in this 4 story aquarium. Admission is usually $25, although there are specials periodically. There are special exhibits, huge aquariums with many kinds of sea life, a "4-D" move and even a dolphin show. You could easily spend half the day here.
