Cheap Shoes Websites
Where to Buy Cheap Shoes Online
Not even the biggest bricks-and-mortar shoe department can compete with the wide array of cheap shoes online. The selection under the Amazon corporate umbrella alone spans Amazon.com; dedicated shoe site Endless; Zappos, which Amazon acquired in 2009; and Zappos sister site 6pm.com. Here are a few tips for sifting through the myriad options and homing in on the best deals.

Sort by lowest price. Most sites allow you to set a price ceiling, but typically the search results are automatically sorted by newest or most popular, rather than cheapest. Unless you do a very narrow search, the biggest savings could easily be buried beneath hundreds of options near the top of your budget. Sorting by lowest price is especially helpful on a site such as Endless, where a sliding scale makes it difficult to set a precise price range.
Overstock.com lets you search for cheap shoes online within price categories such as "Under $25" and "$25-$40," but what if you want to search for options under $40? Sorting by lowest price lets you search all the low-cost options at once. We found brands such as Bandolino, Anne Klein, and Nine West on clearance in a limited selection of sizes.

Look for free shipping and free returns.Zappos built its business in part on free shipping both ways, a policy still rare in online retail. The site also gives customers a full year to return unwanted shoes. Endless goes one better, offering free two-day domestic shipping and free international shipping, plus free U.S. returns for 365 days.
DSW, another source for cheap shoes online, offers free exchanges, and members of its free DSW Rewards program get free shipping on orders over $35 with offer code SHIPR.
Gap's Piperlime has a more limited selection and a higher price point than some other shoe sites -- its "Girl on a budget" section features shoes under $60 -- but it offers free shipping and free returns within 45 days and boasts a trendy, stylish selection.
If you're shopping a shoe site without free return shipping, such as Overstock or 6pm.com, be sure to consult customer reviews to find out whether a style runs big or small. This lowers the odds you'll wind up paying to exchange the pair for a different size.

Sign up for the mailing list. Most retailers offer sales, coupons, and incentives to registered members. Finding out about markdowns right away can help you pounce on cheap shoes before your size is out of stock. Zappos discount site 6pm.com sends daily deals to newsletter subscribers. Overstock.com notifies Omail subscribers of discounts and site-wide promotions such as $1 shipping. DSW Rewards members earn points toward $10 coupons and get a $5 credit on their birthdays.
