1. French Quarter Inn

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Charleston is exploding with history, architecture, and a luxurious food scene — all of which culminate in the French Quarter Inn. According to one reviewer, “the breakfast buffet was exquisite — chocolate croissant to rival those in St Germain, fresh fruit, cappuccino — and all out on the sun deck, next to the bubbling fountain.”

2. Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Head on over to the other Carolina for another exceptional hotel breakfast buffet. There’s even complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast options, including omelets that reviewers consider “exceptional.”

Location: Washington, D.C.
If you’re planning a D.C. trip, you might as well book a stay at a hotel with a renowned breakfast buffet, and Embassy Suites is it, with everything from fresh fruit and waffles to hot meats, eggs, and potatoes.

Location: Estes Park, Colorado
In the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Estes Park is home to the charming Murphy’s River Lodge, which has a solid reputation for incredible accommodations and good, no-frills breakfast to boot.

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

“We especially loved the breakfast buffet with all its hot and cold choices as well as the complimentary coffee and cookies,” writes one Avania Inn reviewer. It’s hard to go wrong with cookies for breakfast.

Location: Sisters, Oregon
Food is paramount when declaring a good breakfast buffet, but ambiance is important too. FivePine has it all with a rustic charm that’s undeniable.
8. Baymont By Wyndham Branson Thousand Hills

Apparently the folks in Estes Park know their way around a good hotel breakfast buffet. Murphy’s Resort is comparable to the River Lodge with good, simple breakfast in a pine-clad room that will have you feeling like you’re dining in a rustic cabin.

Location: Key West, Florida
If you’re going to stay in the tropical environment of the Florida Keys, you might as well wake up in a hotel that offers a myriad of delectable pastries at their breakfast buffet. Almond Tree Inn, we see you.
11. Orchid Key Inn

Location: Key West, Florida
If the pastries at Almond Tree don’t make your mouth water, check out Orchid Key instead. According to a reviewer, the hotel has the breakfast buffet is the best I’ve ever eaten,” offering a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, and “so much more.”
12. Comfort Suites, St. Louis – Sunset Hills

Location: St. Louis
Sometimes keeping it simple is all you need to do to maintain a positive reputation. Moving past the Golden Arches and leaving the McMuffins behind, Comfort Suites are near a much grander arch, and there you’ll find “the usual sort of things, waffles, assortment of baked goods, yogurt, fruit, cereal,” according to a reviewer.

Location: Houston
Reviewers used some pretty impressive adjectives to describe the breakfast buffet at this beautiful, chandelier-clad hotel, including “terrific” and “superb.”
14. Bavarian Lodge

Location: Leavenworth, Washington
We’re suckers for Bavarian-themed hotels and restaurants, and the Bavarian Lodge offers a level of whimsy that draws guests in. According to a review, “They had a big variety at the breakfast buffet and a cute cozy Lodge Bar that serves great dessert as well as Local wines.”
15. Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

Location: Mount Desert Island, Maine
The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel provides a historic charm that can’t be found at any average hotel, plus, according to reviewers, the breakfast buffet is “wonderful.”
