Burger King is dusting off the holiday tinsel with a limited-edition Advent calendar built for BK purists who take their Whoppers a little too seriously.
After last year’s Advent calendar sold out in under five minutes, Burger King announced on November 3 an amped-up limited edition of the countdown to Christmas.
“It’s the most Whopper-ful time of the year,” the fast-food chain declared.
“The holidays are all about creating moments of joy, and our BK Advent Calendar is designed to do just that in a very BK way,” said Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King US&C. “After the incredible response to our first ever Advent Calendar last year which sold out in less than five minutes, we knew we had to bring it back again this year with 12 new and exciting gifts designed to bring friends and families together.”
What’s Inside the Calendar?
Wrapped to look like a vintage brown paper package, the 12-day calendar includes a JD the Dog plushie, inflatable chair, Cini Minis-scented candles, Stout King chia sprouter, retro magnet, ornaments, cookie cutters and tin, Coca-Cola keychain, fanny pack, puzzle cube, and mini Burger King board game.
The company says the total value is over $100, though it’ll cost just $19.54, nodding to the year Burger King was founded.
When Can You Buy It?
The Burger King Advent calendar officially drops November 21. Fans can text “START” to 251-251 for early access, but it’s first come, first served. Last year’s batch disappeared in under five minutes, so odds are you’ll need fast thumbs and a little luck.
