Ford is halting production and shipments of the Ford-150 Lightning because of a possible battery issue, according to Motor Authority, an automotive enthusiast website. Whatever the battery issue is that is impacting production doesn’t apply to whatever has already hit the sales floor.

Ford says models already on dealer lots are cleared and safe for sale. But, you know, if you can’t find the color you want, you’re just stuck until there’s more available.
