Why Is Denny’s Giving Out Free Breakfast?
Denny’s is running a promotion tied to the Major League Baseball championship, the World Series. If any player on either team gets a grand slam — for all you sports-averse people out there, that means a home run with players on all three bases — then Denny’s is giving away free breakfast.
Sure enough, a player hit a grand slam home run in the very first game of the World Series this year. You have Addison Barger, a Toronto Blue Jays player, to thank for your freebie. The Blue Jays ended up winning that game 11-4 against the Los Angeles Dodgers, but it seems like the winners were all of us who will soon have bellies full of free food. (That’s what I’m telling myself, as a Brewers fan, who got swept by the Dodgers. Go Jays!)
What Do You Get From Denny’s?
Well, if you haven’t already guessed it yet, yep, you get a Denny’s Grand Slam for free. Makes sense, right? That includes two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two strips of bacon, and two sausages for a pretty hearty, stick-to-your-ribs kind of diner breakfast.
How Do I Get My Free Grand Slam?
Well, there’s only one catch in order to get your free Grand Slam, but it’s not a big deal. You have to be a member of the Denny’s rewards program, called Booth Rewards, to get it. It’s a loyalty program that’s free to sign up for, and when you sign up, you’ll get a reward for a free item. So it’ll be like two freebies for the price of one… if that price was free.
You’ll need to sign up for Booth Rewards before November 3 (if you’re already a member, you’re all set!). Once you’re a member, you’ll automatically get an email with a unique barcode to get your free Grand Slam.
When Can I Get My Free Breakfast?
Once you get your barcode in your email inbox, you can redeem it for your free Grand Slam between Monday, November 3, and Monday, November 10. So you’ll have a week to get it, which is pretty generous for a free giveaway. Don’t forget that since Denny’s is open 24/7 and serves breakfast all day, you can use your code any time of day to get a free lunch, dinner, or late-night meal.
