International Delight

As one of the most iconic sitcoms of the 1990s, “Friends” has remained popular despite having ended its decade-long run nearly 20 years ago. Fans can even visit the Friends Experience in New York City (along with several pop-up locations), which features replicas of the sitcom’s sets, including the Central Perk coffee shop. But for “Friends” fanatics who don’t live close to one of those attractions, International Delight has a simpler solution that’ll transport you right to that plush orange sofa in Central Perk: Friends Manhattan Hazelnut Mocha creamer.

International Delight’s “Friends” creamer’s flavor is derived from a menu item that appeared on the show’s chalkboard menu in some of the scenes at Central Perk, the Manhattan mocha coffee. The flavor combines chocolate with notes of hazelnut and also comes in a sugar-free version. We’re just thankful it’s not replicated after Monica’s fictional “mockolate” — a disgusting synthetic chocolate substitute featured in a 1995 episode.

International Delight’s latest flavor isn’t its first foray into tapping iconic Hollywood characters for product ideas. The company has released flavors inspired by the Grinch, Willy Wonka, and the movie “Elf.” If you want to add a little “How you doin’” to your coffee, a 32-ounce bottle of Friends creamer sells for $4. But act quick, it’s only available for a limited time.

Meet the Writer

Rachel is a Michigan-based writer who has dabbled in a variety of subject matter throughout her career. As a mom of multiple young children, she tries to maintain a sustainable lifestyle for her family. She grows vegetables in her garden, gets her meat in bulk from local farmers, and cans fruits and vegetables with friends. Her kids have plenty of hand-me-downs in their closets, but her husband jokes that before long, they might need to invest in a new driveway thanks to the frequent visits from delivery trucks dropping off online purchases (she can’t pass up a good deal, after all).
