What is the Picklewich?
Jimmy John’s has decided to toss the traditional idea of making subs on a sub roll aside, and replace that with the next most obvious choice: an enormous dill pickle. The chain has always been known for serving gigantic pickles, but now they’re going a step even farther. Acid blast ahoy.
What Sandwiches Are Available in Pickle Form?
Right now, you can grab two different types of Picklewiches. The Vito, which is the Jimmy John’s version of an Italian sub, is available, and so is a classic turkey sub.
Is the Picklewich As Big As a Regular Sandwich?
These are unsurprisingly a bit smaller than your typical Jimmy John’s sandwich, considering their pickles are not as big as a loaf of bread. You’re probably not going to be as full afterwards, but that also might be a good thing.
How is Jimmy John’s Marketing the Picklewich?
Not sure what year Jimmy John’s thinks it is, but they’ve chosen to market this one with a “Blair Witch Project” parody starring Snooki, of “Jersey Shore” fame. Musta blown the budget on Brad Garrett, I guess.
Are There Any Deals for the Picklewich?
Yep! On National Sandwich Day (Nov. 3), Jimmy John’s will hook up any Freaky Fast Reward Members with 50% an 8-inch sub.
