Bread’s out this season and brine’s in. Jimmy John’s Picklewich is back — and it’s a big dill. The chain announced it’s bringing back the Picklewich, the fan-favorite sandwich with the most unhinged carb substitute introduced last year.
“Jimmy John’s fans are freaks for our Jimmy Pickles, and last year, the Picklewich took the internet by storm. This year, we wanted to give our devoted pickle fans even more to celebrate,” said Kate Carpenter, Vice President of Marketing at Jimmy John’s, in a statement.
What Is a Picklewich?

The Picklewich includes all the standard Jimmy John’s fixings — meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo — but instead of the chain’s signature French bread, everything’s tucked inside a massive, hollowed-out dill pickle.
This year, Jimmy John’s is going all in on the brine, expanding the pickle lineup to include six sandwich picklewitch varieties: Vito, Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Tuna, and Veggie.

And what’s missing next to a giant pickle sandwich, you might wonder? A Pickle Ranch dipping sauce, obviously. The chain is debuting the new ranch with a pickle twist — and bringing back Pickle Jimmy Chips, too.
For the die-hard pickle freaks, Jimmy John’s is also offering “Triple Pickle” meals, featuring your choice of Picklewich, Pickle Jimmy Chips, and Pickle Ranch.

“With six Picklewich options, Pickle Ranch, Pickle Jimmy Chips, and the Triple Pickle, we’ve created a pickle-lover’s dream that delivers bold, signature flavors that only Jimmy John’s could deliver,” Carpenter said.
