The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office might not exclusively recognize Mariah Carey as the “Queen of Christmas,” but she’s still widely regarded as such, courtesy of her 1994 hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which has become one of the most ubiquitous songs of the Christmas season, still topping charts nearly 30 years after its release. Carey’s catchy tune isn’t her only Christmas contribution, though: The singer teamed up with Booking.com to offer up the “Ultimate Holiday Experience” in which two lucky winners will be able to visit her New York City penthouse and participate in an itinerary of festive activities.

@mariahcarey This holiday season, get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime Holiday Experience with @bookingcom! For one night only, you could be sipping cocktails at my NYC penthouse and hanging stockings in your very own lavish room at The Plaza, a Fairmont Hotel. Naturally, Carey’s carefully curated itinerary teems with luxury and allure. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour in her penthouse followed by a professional Christmas card photoshoot on her rooftop terrace. From there, guests will enjoy a three-night stay in a Grand Luxe King room at none other than The Plaza Hotel. Also included with the booking are tickets to Carey’s “Merry Christmas To All!” concert at Madison Square Garden, a shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue, private skating lessons in front of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, dinner reservations at the singer’s favorite restaurants (including Nobu and Mr. Chow), and more.

The experience will be available exclusively on Booking.com starting December 14 at 5 p.m. ET, for a Dec. 16 to Dec. 19 stay, on a first-come-first-served basis — so you’ll want to have your booking fingers ready. Oh, and one last tiny detail. Such a lavish weekend in the Big Apple would normally come with quite a hefty price tag, but guests will only pay $20.19 — a nod to the year “All I Want for Christmas is You” first topped Billboard’s charts — to participate in this fit-for-a-Christmas-queen extravaganza.

Meet the Writer

Rachel is a Michigan-based writer who has dabbled in a variety of subject matter throughout her career. As a mom of multiple young children, she tries to maintain a sustainable lifestyle for her family. She grows vegetables in her garden, gets her meat in bulk from local farmers, and cans fruits and vegetables with friends. Her kids have plenty of hand-me-downs in their closets, but her husband jokes that before long, they might need to invest in a new driveway thanks to the frequent visits from delivery trucks dropping off online purchases (she can’t pass up a good deal, after all).
