Thursday, April 3 is National Burrito Day. We have no idea who makes up all these silly food holidays, but it usually means that fast food chains give away free food, so we’re all for it.

Here’s how you can score some free burritos at Tex-Mex chains this week.

Qdoba

Qdoba is offering a free burrito when you purchase any entree and a drink. You’ll need to be a member of the chain’s rewards program to get the deal and it’s only valid on April 3. Weirdly, the offer isn’t valid with quesadillas. But hey, guacamole and queso on your burrito are always free here, so we’re not complaining.

Chipotle

As always, Chipotle’s deal for National Burrito Day is overly complicated with lots of hoops to jump through. To score a buy-one-get-one-free burrito coupon, rewards members have to play a burrito vault game. Every hour from now through the end of April 2, go to the burrito vault game website and try to guess the correct entree combination. The first 2,500 people to do so each hour will get a BOGO coupon. Needless to say, the coupons are usually gone within the first 10 minutes of every hour.

Moe’s Southwest Grill

Moe’s is offering buy-one-get-one-free burritos or bowls for everyone in-store on April 3. If you’d like to redeem the offer online, you’ll need to be a member of the chain’s rewards program and apply the reward at checkout. In store, no rewards or coupons are required.

Taco Bell

On April 3, you can get a free $2 burrito if you spend $15 or more at Taco Bell. You’ll have to be a member of the chain’s rewards program and redeem the offer in the app or online. Compared to the big burrito restaurants, this offer is pretty lackluster. What the heck, TB?

El Pollo Loco

You can get a free burrito at El Pollo Loco (which serves our favorite bean and cheese burrito) when you buy one on April 3. You’ll have to be a member of the chain’s rewards program to get the deal, but it’s worth it for that delicious grilled chicken.

Del Taco

Members of Del Taco’s rewards program will get a free burrito on April 3. You’ll have to make a purchase to get it, but at least it doesn’t have to be a $15 bill to get it (we’re looking at you, Taco Bell).

Chronic Tacos

This West Coast Tex-Mex chain is offering buy-one-get-one-free burritos on April 3. You need to be a member of the chain’s rewards program, and you must have signed up before April 3, so plan ahead if you want to use this deal. The deal excludes the Cali and Surf and Turf burritos.
