Fall is definitely Target season — and just in time for Halloween, the retailer is giving you quite a treat. A fresh batch of new locations is set to open this October, with seven new Target stores launching across the country.
What Is Target Doing?

Target is opening seven new stores in October as part of its plan to build over 300 locations in the next decade, the company confirmed in a press release. Six of these stores are larger than the company’s 125,000-square-foot average and are designed to function as local fulfillment hubs for same-day services like Drive Up and Target Circle 360.

These new Target stores will come with expanded grocery sections, covered pickup lanes, and branded shop-in-shops including Apple, Disney, CVS Pharmacy, and Starbucks. Several stores include 16,000 square feet of space dedicated to produce, meat, and dairy.
