Typing the gift you’re after into a website search bar, clicking “add to cart,” and entering your payment and shipping information can be easy and convenient, leaving many shoppers to rely on the internet for holiday shopping rather than facing the crowds at brick-and-mortar stores.

Still, there are plenty of consumers who prefer to explore stores and hold items in their hands before purchasing them. So, which stores are most shoppers flocking to this season? More than half (56%) do most of their holiday shopping at none other than the world’s largest retailer, Walmart, according to a survey of 1,000 shoppers by Jungle Scout, an e-commerce company.

Trailing Walmart was Target, with 29% of respondents saying they opt for the big-box retailer over other stores during the holiday shopping season. And despite being relatively new to brick-and-mortar retail, Amazon Go or Amazon Go Grocery attracted 17% of shoppers instead of the competition.

On the flip side, when it comes to online purchases, 67% of shoppers rely on Amazon for their online shopping needs (shocking, we know), while 36% stick mostly with Walmart.com and 18% rely on Target.com. Target’s relatively low online performance may not be that surprising since there’s nothing quite like getting lost in a Target store for hours, filling your cart with all kinds of stuff you didn’t know you needed. Or maybe that’s just us.
