He’s long gone, but the former Malibu digs of iconic actor Steve McQueen are back on the market for $17 million. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home sports 4,335 square feet of living space as well as an open-plan kitchen, fireplaces, and spa-like bathrooms.
The property also has a private staircase to the beach, which McQueen and then-wife Ali MacGraw supposedly used. According to a 2012 biography of the actor, he and MacGraw would “walk, unrecognized and undisturbed, along the beach together every afternoon.”

But the home is very different than it was in McQueen’s day thanks to a major remodel by current owners Ammar Malik and Chyna Bardarson, including upgrades to the home’s plumbing and electrical systems.
