It seems like every fast food chain is jumping on the fried chicken bandwagon — even the seafood ones. Now it’s Taco Bell’s turn to bring back chicken options, but this time it’s with a buffalo wing-style twist courtesy of Frank’s RedHot, the gold standard of buffalo-flavored everything. Here are all the deets on the spicy new Taco Bell and Frank’s RedHot collaboration.

What Kind of Taco Bell Chicken Are We Talking About?

Taco Bell has brought back the fan favorite Crispy Chicken. This time, though, it’s not in nugget form, but more like a chicken finger in shape, so it fits better in tacos and burritos (spoiler alert!). It’s white meat chicken marinated in jalapeño buttermilk and coated in a mix of breadcrumbs and tortilla chips for maximum crunch. The best part is that it’s whole pieces of chicken, not ground chicken like many cheap nuggets.

So what’s on the Frank’s RedHot Diablo menu? There are four items, starting with a burrito. It’s filled with two Crispy Chicken strips, purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, and the most important part of any of these items: Frank’s RedHot Diablo sauce. It’s a creamy mashup of the iconic Frank’s Original Buffalo Sauce flavor, Taco Bell’s Diablo sauce, and spicy ranch. Sounds just about perfect, if you ask us.

You can get any of these menu items topped with Avocado Ranch sauce instead of the Frank’s sauce, but why would you want to?

The taco on the Frank’s RedHot Diablo menu is made with one Crispy Chicken strip topped with purple cabbage, lettuce, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, and Frank’s RedHot Diablo sauce, all in a soft flour tortilla.

Yep, Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries are back for this menu. You get a bed of seasoned fries topped with nacho cheese sauce, shredded three-cheese blend, pico de gallo, Frank’s RedHot Diablo sauce, and slow-roasted chicken. That’s right, no Crispy Chicken in this one, unfortunately. You could probably just get an order of Crispy Chicken, chop them up, and add them yourself…

Here’s how you add Crispy Chicken to those loaded fries or anything else on Taco Bell’s menu (imagine a chicken strip in the Spicy Potato Taco?!). You can order four Crispy Chicken strips on their own, with either Frank’s RedHot Diablo sauce or spicy ranch for dipping.

When Can I Get the Taco Bell Frank’s RedHot Menu?

You can get everything on the Frank’s RedHot Diablo Crispy Chicken menu starting on October 16, 2025. Exactly how long it’ll stick around for isn’t really known, but it’s a good bet that it’ll be gone by mid-November when Taco Bell’s next round of limited-time menu items is scheduled to start. There are rumors that the Crispy Chicken strips will be available through January 2026, though.
