Taco Bell has always been one of the best fast-food chains for getting your money’s worth. But now it’s making big changes to its value menu, which is going to undoubtedly raise prices on the part of the menu with the cheapest items.
Right now, Taco Bell’s value menu is called the Cravings Value Menu (because you can’t just have a “value menu” anymore, it must be named something, apparently). Soon, it will become the Luxe Value Menu, inserting a term that the chain has been using on individual items for a while now. It certainly gives a luxurious and fancy vibe, and people are wary. “‘Luxe’ value menu sounds like an excuse to raise prices,” said one Taco Bell fan on Reddit. Call us cynical, but we’re pretty sure they’re right.
It’s not all terrible, though, because there are some brand new items that sound pretty great, whether they really belong on a “value” menu or not. Here’s all the deets on the new Luxe Value Menu, including its five new items — and the items that are being discontinued to make room for them.
What’s on the Luxe Value Menu?
There are five new items on Taco Bell’s Luxe Value Menu. The new items were all tested last year in Indianapolis, and clearly they must have done well since this is now a nationwide permanent menu change.
The five new items on TB’s Luxe Value Menu — and their suggested prices — are as follows:
- Mini Taco Salad, $2.49: beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, refried beans, and creamy chipotle sauce in a tiny crispy tortilla bowl
- Beefy Potato Loaded Griller, $2.49: beef, crispy potatoes, nacho cheese sauce, creamy chipotle sauce, and sour cream, rolled and grilled in a tortilla
- Chips & Nacho Supreme Dip, $2.49: a take on 7-layer dip with layers of beef, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, pico de gallo, and shredded cheese, served with tortilla chips for dipping
- Avocado Ranch Chicken Stacker, $2.99: grilled chicken, avocado ranch sauce, shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes folded and grilled in a tortilla
- Salted Caramel Churros, $1.99: mini churros dusted in salted caramel sugar
Not sure about you, but we are all about that Nacho Supreme Dip (because it’s like nachos that don’t get soggy!) and the churros. And that mini taco salad sounds like an adorable, nostalgic blast-from-our-Chi-Chi’s-loving-past. But are they worth the price? Considering our go-to is the $1.10 Spicy Potato Soft Taco, probably not. It’s hard to beat that value, and early reviews say that some of the new items feel tiny.
Keep in mind that the prices, which Taco Bell touts as all under $3, can vary by location. Each franchisee has the ability to set their own prices, so you can bet that all of those new items will be priced at $3 at some locations.
Which Taco Bell Items Are Being Discontinued?
Besides the brand new items, there are five returning items on the Luxe Value Menu. They are all holdovers from the current value menu. Keep in mind that these are only suggested prices, and that some franchisees will use this menu overhaul as an excuse to jack up prices.

- Cheesy Roll Up, $1.19
- Spicy Potato Soft Taco, $1.29
- Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, $1.49
- 3 Cheese Chicken Flatbread Melt, $2.29
- Cheesy Double Beef Burrito, $2.79
That leaves five other current value menu items in limbo. Taco Bell’s press release does not mention that these items are sticking around, so it’s safe to assume they’re being discontinued.
- Double Stacked Taco
- Classic Stacker
- Loaded Beef Nachos
- Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes
- Chicken Enchilada Burrito
Some people are upset about losing their favorite cheap items, especially the Double Stacked Taco and Loaded Beef Nachos. “RIP double stack taco,” said one commenter on Reddit. “Been a favorite of mine. Not stoked on this new ‘luxe’ value menu. Little bag of chips and a cup of goop doesn’t replace the nachos, not even close.”
When Can We Get the Luxe Value Menu?

Taco Bell’s new Luxe Value Menu drops nationwide on January 22, 2026. So if you want one last beef Stacker or Chicken Enchilada Burrito, you better get it soon. If you’re a Taco Bell rewards program member, you can try the new items early starting January 16.
As interested as we are in the churros and taco salad, it’s unlikely that this new menu will result in anything but paying more for less food, but that was probably inevitable.
“They will take away all the good deals and value menu items and replace them with more expensive items,” said one dejected fan. “Taco Bell we know how you do by now.”
