That’s because the retailer just announced it will offer Easter meals and bundles at last year’s price points. The lower prices include both meal and basket fixings, so parents moonlighting as the Easter bunny won’t have to tell their kiddos that the bunny is broke this year.

The world’s largest retailer is broadcasting its savings as so affordable that shoppers can grab “an entire Easter meal and basket for less than $100.” This is good news for folks who are making dinner for a crowd and/or parents who are playing Peter Cottontail for at least a couple of jellybean-crazed kids. The announcement marks the second year the store will honor its previous years’ prices to ease the strain on shoppers’ budgets. The resurfacing of the deal also comes as many of us are doing what we can to combat inflation-driven hikes to grocery staples.
Shoppers don’t have to wait to take advantage of Walmart’s lower prices. They’re available now, and customers can shop for their Easter goodies until April 15 in stores and online. Included in the meal deals and baskets are everything from chocolate bunnies to ham, pie, green beans, and — gasp! — eggs.
