Sure, there’s tons of free candy to be had for Halloween. But what about freebies and deals on real food? 

Luckily for parents (the ones buying all that “free” candy), fast-food and chain restaurants roll out some pretty good deals for Halloween. So when your family has come down off the sugar high and needs some actual food fast, check out some of these ghoulish deals. 

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme gives out free doughnuts all the time, and Halloween is no exception. On October 25 or October 31, head to your nearest KK wearing a costume and get a free original glazed doughnut. Sounds like a great way to start your trick-or-treating. 

Chipotle

Chipotle is well-known for its annual “boo-rito” tradition with free or cheap burritos. It’s happening again this year, but the chain is waiting until closer to Halloween to announce it. Last year, the deal was $6 burritos.

In the meantime, members of the chain’s rewards program who place an entree order through the app will get a Chip-or-treat deal via email afterwards. Expect things like free guac or queso. 

Fazoli’s

Kids eat free on Halloween at Fazoli’s. From October 30 through November 2, buy any entree and get a free kids meal using code TRICKORTREAT25 at checkout. Plus, you can get six free breadsticks when you use code Breadstick25 as well.

Insomnia Cookies

Costumes are required at Insomnia Cookies for its food deal. Between October 30 and November 2, visit a location while dressed up and get a free classic cookie with any purchase.

Shake Shack

Shake Shack has BOGO free offers all October long. From now through the 21st, the deal is on Chicken Shacks (that’s the chain’s name for the fried chicken sandwich). From October 22 through Halloween, you get BOGO free double Shack Burgers. To get either of the Halloween food deals, use code SPOOKY at checkout. 

White Castle

For five days around Halloween, White Castle is giving away free food to members of its loyalty program. 

  • October 27: Free small fry
  • October 28: Free 6-piece Chicken Rings with purchase
  • October 29: Free dessert on a stick with purchase
  • October 30: $2 off 10-sack of sliders
  • October 31: BOGO free combo

Auntie Anne’s

Round Table Pizza

From October 24 through November 1, you can get a Double Play pizza at Round Table for $22 for carryout, dine-in, or delivery. You’ll also have the option to add a shareable side like mozzarella sticks or garlic parmesan twists for $5.

KFC

KFC is keeping its Halloween surprises under wraps. But we do know that through October 31, members of the chain’s rewards program will get daily deals in their app. Some will include a free chicken sandwich with a $10 purchase and 50% off a 12-piece bucket. 

Papa Murphy’s

Kids eat free deals are popular on Halloween, and many chains offer it. Outback is one of them. Just place an order for an adult entree, use the code SpookyFree at checkout, and you’ll receive a free kids meal.

Friendly’s
