The scariest thing of all this Halloween might end up being the candy: Two popular candy bars by Zingerman’s, one of the 11 factions of the Zingerman’s Community of Businesses, have been recalled at the 11th hour for a potentially life-threatening allergen swap, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.
Why Are Zingerman’s Candy Bars Being Recalled?

Two of Zingerman’s candy bars — one with peanut butter and one with cashew butter — may have been cross-contaminated with each other’s allergens after “a temporary breakdown in the production and packaging processes.”
In other words, the peanut butter might have cashews in it, and the cashew butter might have peanuts in it. Anybody with serious allergies to peanuts or cashews should avoid these, since the products are both mislabeled.
