Cheesy Garlic Baguette Hot Dogs

Reddit user [borrado] mentioned that hot dogs are the bread equivalent of ramen in the UK because they are cheap, tasty, quick to make and filling. He added: “Those hot dogs are part baked and then the garlic oil is added before refrigerating. Bread pudding may well be made from an old, stale loaf that was never used.”
Chicago Hot Dog, Homemade Version

A Chicago-style hot dog is the one with an all-beef frankfurter between a steamed poppy-seed bun and is topped with yellow mustard, bright green sweet relish, chopped onions, tomato wedges and a dill pickle spear, pickled sport peppers and a dash of celery salt. But Reddit user Birkin92 revealed: “These are all-beef franks, with the bun not being so sweet nor delicate, but apparently I forgot to include the dill pickle spear.”
Smoked Hot Dog

Reddit user TopDogBBQ revealed that the day he cooked these smoked hot dogs, he added the ingredients he had on hand at home. The user’s goal was to emulate the “Animal Style” from In-N-Out and added: “I used a slog dog to make the cuts on both sides. Hot Dog “Tasting Menu”

After posting an image featuring five hot dog styles, the Chicken Chili Dog, Mexicali Dog, Mac ‘n’ Cheese Dog, Coney Dog, and Chicken Bacon Ranch Dog, some users expressed disappointment that the Chicago-style dog was missing. This Reddit user explained that he didn’t have pickled peppers on hand at that time, so he decided against making it. He also mentioned that Reuben Dogs, with sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing, and Seattle Dogs, with a toasted bun, with a toasted bun slathered with cream cheese and topped with caramelized onions, would be his choices the next time he cooks another round.
Simple Hot Dog and Fries

This dish features more French fries than hot dog, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The Reddit user noted that the only thing he had to eat was a hot dog, but there were so many fries that he used a mandolin to cut them into French-fry style. He added: “Otherwise, I would have ended up eating nothing but fries for dinner that night.”
